Azad Jasmi
Mohd. Azad Jasmi is a business leader, certified fund manager, corporate advisor, trainer, entrepreneur, author, and driving instructor with more than 20 years of experience across investments, business development, leadership, and organizational growth.
He currently serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer of a Government-Linked Company (GLC), where he works closely with stakeholders, industry partners, and teams to drive sustainable growth, value creation, and long-term strategic initiatives. Throughout his career, he has been privileged to work with GLCs, private companies, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and community organizations across various sectors, including investment management, property development, hospitality, education, technology, and renewable energy.
As a certified fund manager, Azad has been involved in evaluating investment opportunities, corporate growth strategies, business transformation initiatives, and value creation programs. His experience across both corporate and entrepreneurial environments has provided him with practical insights into leadership, decision-making, risk management, and building resilient organizations.
Outside of his corporate responsibilities, Azad has a long-standing passion for driving and motorsports. He is an experienced rally, racing, and endurance driver, and a certified driving instructor who has conducted advanced driving and performance driving training for many years. Through motorsports and driver development programs, he has developed a deep appreciation for discipline, focus, teamwork, and making sound decisions under pressure & principles; and he believes are equally valuable in business and life.
Azad is also passionate about writing and sharing knowledge. He is the author of two published books, including “Rasa Mengiring Masa”, and has written numerous articles, reflections, poems, and inspirational quotes covering topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, personal growth, and human values. His writing is often inspired by real-life experiences, observations, and lessons learned throughout his journey.
Through speaking engagements, training programs, mentoring, and writing, Azad continues to share practical insights drawn from both successes and setbacks. He prefers a humble approach, believing that leadership is a continuous journey of learning, reflection, and service to others.
He believes that true leadership is about creating value, building trust, and helping others grow.
